Areas of Interest/Research

  • Biomathematics and mathematical modeling;
  • Formulating and using dynamical (deterministic and stochastic) models to understand the transmission and control existing, emerging, and re-emerging infectious diseases;
  • Exploring connections between human behavior, infectious diseases of humans, Land use, environmental change, and economic growth;
  • Developing new efficient algorithms for parameters estimations in infectious diseases modeling.
  • I am currently working on COVID-19 and Lassa Fever.
