Background

I’m a Political Science PhD student specializing in International Relations. I’m interested in international political economy, environmental politics, environmental security, norms, identity, political psychology, and global performance indices.  My dissertation research examines how status-seeking states respond to dominant norms regarding environmental protection.

Before coming to Florida, I worked as a research associate for the International Business-Government Counsellors (IBC), a government relations firm in Washington DC, where I monitored the activities of international organizations and assisted clients with international trade and political issues. My previous experience also includes working as a research assistant for Assembly Member Mick Bates at the National Assembly for Wales in the United Kingdom. assisted the Welsh Liberal Democrats at the Assembly with a variety of cultural and environmental projects, including the drafting of a policy paper on domestic tradable carbon credit schemes.
