Western Mebon
An aerial view of the Western Baray (reservior). Built by King Udayadityavarman II (11th century), the Western Baray is a huge artificial lake 5 miles by 1 1/2 miles.

On the way to the Western Mebon
Udayadityavarman II built a temple to Lord Vishnu on a small island in the middle of the Western Baray.
A large bronze icon of Vishnu in a reclining position was found here.
