Beyond the university, I have significant experience developing programs that link research and practice. As a Research Fellow with the Science for Nature and People Partnership (SNAPP)<\/a> and with support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Fonseca Leadership Program<\/a>, I have co-facilitated governance workshops in Namibia and South Africa, bringing together community leaders, practitioners, students, and scholars from across more than a dozen countries.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also assisted Dr. Brian Child in the development of the LifeThroughWildlife Professional Certificate in Wildlife Economy and CBNRM Governance<\/a>, now in its fourth cohort. This program integrates online instruction in governance and policy with field-based training at CBNRM anchor sites across Southern Africa. These initiatives reflect my broader commitment to producing scholarship that is rigorous, collaborative, and directly impactful for communities and conservation practitioners.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n
