<\/a>Real Analysis and Advanced Calculus 2<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n


\nThe setting for this course is a metric space, <\/em>which includes Euclidean spaces as a special case.\u00a0 In addition to the concepts encountered in the first semester, sequences of functions and power series will be covered.\u00a0 The course ends with an introduction to multivariable calculus.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Five homework assignments, each worth 2%.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
The exams will be graded on a sliding scale, the harder the exam, the more lenient the\u00a0 grading.\u00a0 Out of 100, it will never be stricter than 90A, 80B, 70C, 60D. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
At most 7 unexcused absences.\u00a0 More than this will result in a reduction of one letter grade (A->B, B->C, C->D, D->F) in the course.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
