Topological groups and Ramsey theory

 

Abstract: Every Polish topological group can be represented as an
automorphism group of a discrete or metric
structure. A striking discovery of Kechris, Pestov and Todorcevic
links dynamics of topological groups and Ramsey properties of finitary
approximations of the underlying structures. We will explore this
correspondence in various settings and venture on beyond the separable
case.
