TITLE: “On the distribution of divisors – a survey”

ABSTRACT:

During his long and prolific mathematical life, Paul Erdös had been constantly concerned by the distribution of the divisors of integers, with many different points of view and specific techniques. We shall discuss old problems and  new results in this field of number theory impregnated by Erdös’ profound conceptions,  with special attention to those questions enabling us to refine our probabilistic model of a random integer.
