Authenticated Key Exchange from Ideal Lattices

Abstract: In this talk, we introduce a practical and provably secure two-pass authenticated key exchange protocol from ideal lattices.  The process is conceptually simple has similarities to Diffie-Hellman based protocols, but does not involve other cryptographic primitives. In particular, it does not use signatures, which simplifies the protocol, and allows security to be based directly on the difficulty of the ring learning with errors problem.
