Homogeneous Einstein spaces – what’s next?

Abstract: For the better part of a century, homogeneous Einstein manifolds have continued to attract attention. Two years ago, a major breakthrough was had with the proof of the Alekseevskii Conjecture. This talk will survey the current landscape and suggest some problems of continued interest in the area.
