These resources should be helpful to those taking Mathematics Department PhD or First Year exam in Numerical Analysis. Note that at this point they are only guaranteed to be relevant to the exams in 2017.
The material is based on class lectures. Some standard texts are

- A practice final exam for the course which you should take with no notes or books in two hours maximum. This exam is probably a bit easier than a PhD level qualifying exam
