The history, philosophy and sociology of the twentieth century biological sciences, especially evolutionary biology, genetics, systematics, and ecology. The history of the botanical sciences in the United States of America. The history of biological anthropology. Race, class, gender, ethnicity, immigration and science. History of scientific societies and periodicals. Science in the United States of America, Great Britain and Japan. Historiography of science. Biography. Intellectual and cultural history.
