She will only write letters for students in her lab, not those who take her classes. Dr. Chen is able to write stronger letters of recommendation for these students as she has a better understanding of their personality and work ethic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Chen is guaranteed to write letters of recommendation for any students who acquire at least 250 hours of work in her lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to request a letter of recommendation from Dr. Chen, please follow these instructions carefully. First, fill out<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/16Epf4nESDE0XlnmxT_6btD3ucjjVS1bWjFpph3DI78Q\/edit?usp=sharing\">\u00a0<\/a>the form at the bottom of this page and send it to Dr. Chen (chenshanting@ufl.edu)\u00a0at least four weeks before the due date of your first application. This form informs Dr. Chen of what the letter is for and how she can best highlight your achievements. In this email, please also include a copy of your personal statement that you are using for your applications.
