Students interested in studying sustainability standards, environmental certification, or alternative trade systems including the Better Cotton Initiative, Sustainable Agriculture Network, Fair Trade, for example, please contact me.  I am particularly interested in working with students interested in undertaking in-depth case studies of environmental certification and fair trade systems in developing countries.

Other areas of interest include linkages between sustainability standards, global supply chains, and the behavior of retailers and consumers in northern markets. Interested graduate students should follow the links to apply to the program.
