  • Jan 17: Discussed Homework 1. Proved the Inverse Function Theorem and did an Example. Assigned Homework 2 due next Wednesday.
  • Jan 15: Covered Section 4.6 on Inverse Functions. Started discussion of the Inverse Function Theorem. Students handed in Homework 1.
  • Jan 13: Dr.G. has returned. Went over syllabus etc. Did the proof of Theorem 5.9.
  • Jan 6 – 10: Dr. McCullough taught the class and covered Sections 4.7 and 4.8 and Sections 5.1 and 5.2 up to Theorem 5.9
