Course Description <\/dt>\n<\/h3>\n
MAP 2302 is a 3 credit course on linear Differential Equations.
\nDifferential Equations are ubiquitous in the sciences and
\nengineering. This course is designed to serve students in
\nengineering, physics, mathematics and related areas with the aim of
\nunderstanding qualitatively, applying, and solving ordinary
\ndifferential equations of the most usual types.

We will cover much of Chapters 2, 4, 7 and some Chapter 8.
\nThis includes First Order Equations (Linear, Exact, Bernoulli etc),
\nsecond order equations and some applications to circuits and mechanics and
\nLaplace transforms. Series solutions will be covered in Chapter 8.<\/p>

\n If time and interest permits we may use some computer algebra package
\n to solve and plot DEs.\n<\/p><\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
