This is a synthetic, bioinorganic and physical inorganic chemistry group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Our main research interests are focused on bioinorganic chemistry and magnetic applications of\u00a0 multinuclear metal complexes. This group has always been very international,with members from all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prof. Christou selected to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/highlycited.com\/\"><em>Highly Cited Researchers<\/em><\/a>\u00a0List<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chem.ufl.edu\/~christou\/group\/News_clip_image002.jpg\" alt=\"George_Christou\" style=\"width:135px;height:auto\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Distinguished Prof. George Christou is one of the 204 chemists worldwide that have been selected for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/highlycited.com\/\"><em>Highly Cited Researchers<\/em><\/a>\u00a0list published in 2014 by Thompson Reuters.\u00a0 The list contains over 3200 researchers, spanning 21 broad fields of the sciences and social sciences, who have over the period 2002-2012 \u201cearned the distinction by writing the greatest numbers of reports officially designated by Essential Science Indicators\u2120 as Highly Cited Papers &#8211; ranking among the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication, earning them the mark of exceptional impact\u201d.
