I\u2019m Jason Garnier, a French PhD student in Mathematics at the University of Florida, where I explore the frontiers of semi-classical analysis and quantum chaos. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I\u2019m passionate about making complex ideas accessible by breaking down challenging concepts into clear, intuitive steps and creating an environment where curiosity sparks genuine understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Outside the classroom, I\u2019m fueled by the perfect cup of coffee and the insights of great philosophers. I love discovering new landscapes, whether on a spontaneous road trip or a weekend hike, and relaxing with a film. I bring that spirit of curiosity and exploration to every office hour and, trying to help you build confidence and enthusiasm in your mathematical journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Areas of Interest\/Research<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  • Semiclassical analysis and quantum chaos (especially the Quantum Unique Ergodicity conjecture)<\/li>\n
  • Functional analysis, dynamical systems, spectral theory, and operator theory<\/li>\n
  • Spectral geometry, Differential geometry and Riemannian geometry (with a focus on negatively curved manifolds)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
