Nan Jiang

Areas of Interest/Research
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), more specifically in: numerical methods for solving fluid flow equations and related numerical analysis, turbulence modeling, nonlocal models for anomalous diffusion, efficient flow ensemble simulation methods and uncertainty quantification in predictive models.
Background
Before joining UF, Dr. Jiang was an Assistant Professor at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) from 2016 to 2020 and a Postdoctoral Associate Researcher in the Department of Scientific Computing at Florida State University (FSU) working with Prof. Max Gunzburger from 2015 to 2016. She completed her Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2014 at University of Pittsburgh under the supervision of Prof. William Layton.
