My name is Carl Ye, (legal name is Jingkai Ye). I am a 4-th year math PhD student and a graduate Teaching Assistant.

Topology, Topological Data Analysis (TDA)

Brief Summary of My Research

I am interested in the Anti-Vietoris–Rips and Finite Subset Spaces.

The Anti-Vietoris–Rips Complex is an interesting concept in TDA, while the Finite Subset

Space is an interesting concept in pure topology.

More specifically, I am trying to find a potential homotopy or homeomorphism

relationship between these two spaces under certain scales.

This research is interesting to me because I am trying to find some connections

between some TDA concepts and pure topology concepts.
