His parents, prominent citizens of Grossrohrsdorf, were deported to the Trawniki labor camp in 1941, and murdered in Sobibor Concentration Camp in 1942. This recording discusses my address to the residents of the town in 2008, when it unveiled a monument to my grandparents.
