She also served as the founding Director of the University of Florida\u2019s Title VI funded Center for European Studies (CES) from 2003-2011 and again from 2017 to \u00a02023. She is a Professor in the Department of Political Science. Dr. Kreppel has written extensively on the political institutions of Europe in general and the European Union and Italy more specifically. Her publications include a book on the <u>Development of the European Parliament and Supranational Party System<\/u> (2002), and two edited volumes on politics in Italy (2014) and decision making in the EU (2015), as well as articles in a wide variety of journals including <em>Comparative Political Studies, the British Journal of Political Research, European Union Politics, the European Journal of Political Research, Political Research Quarterly, the Journal of European Public Policy,<\/em><em>the Journal of Common Market Studies <\/em>and<em> the Journal of European Integration<\/em>. Dr. Kreppel is a founding member of the transatlantic European Parliament Research Group (EPRG) and was a Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington DC. In addition, she has served as international visiting faculty at the <em>Universit\u00e9 Louis Pasteur (ULP), <\/em>Strasbourg, France, <em>Institut f\u00fcr H\u00f6here Studien (Institute for Advanced Studies) <\/em>Vienna, Austria, and the <em>l&#8217;Institut d&#8217;Etudes Europ\u00e9ennes, Universit\u00e9 Libre Bruxelles (ULB), <\/em>Brussels Belgium and at the <em>LUISS Guido Carli University<\/em> in Rome.\u00a0In spring 2011 she was a visiting Fernand Braudel Senior Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) and in 2016 she was the Fulbright-Schuman Chair at the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium. She served as Co-Editor of the Italian Political Science Review from 2014-2018, and is a past President of the Conference Group on Italian Politics. Dr. Kreppel currently sits on the steering committee of the European Consortia for Political Research Standing Group on the European Union (ECPR-SGEU) and the ECPR Standing Group on Parliaments. From 2011- 2013 she served as the President of the European Union Studies Association (EUSA).
