My research areas are differential geometry, complex algebraic geometry and geometric topology.
Most of my past work as well as my planned future projects concern complex surface theory, Einstein metrics, complex hyperbolic geometry, locally symmetric varieties and their compactifications, the theory of Seshadri constants, and the study of Betti numbers on negatively curved spaces.
