Background

I received a Secondary (certified middle school and high school) Math Education degree at a small town University in West Virginia called Shepherd University. I had competed on Shepherd University’s Putnam Team twice. Unfortunately my undergraduate degree in math education did not satisfy my hunger for more and advanced mathematics. As a result, I applied to the Math Ph.D program at the University of Florida.
