My research program is varied, but there are three main foci in my research program: 1) phylogenetics, he use of phylogenies for comparative studies, and some exploration of methods for phylogenetic estimation; 2) behavior, particularly mating systems, sexual selection and social behavior; and 3) linking changes in the genome with changes at the organismal level in an explicit evolutionary framework to elucidate the proximate and ultimate causes of these changes.
