Hello, My name is Salah Algabli. I am currently an Associate Instructional Professor of Arabic Studies and Educational Technology and serve as the Undergraduate Coordinator for the Arabic Studies Program at UF. My research focuses on online and blended learning, artificial intelligence (AI), virtual exchange programs, and world language education.
I am currently working on two projects. The first investigates the pedagogical and technological opportunities and challenges that both faculty and students face in fully asynchronous formats within world language education. In addition, I explore how online learning theories can be effectively applied in this context.
The second project examines the role of AI, particularly generative AI tools, in shaping educational programs at the university level. I study how these tools can support faculty in creating engaging and effective instructional materials, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for students.
