I graduated from Davidson College in 2024 where I majored in Linguistics and minored in Arabic. One of my undergraduate study abroad experiences was in Carthage, Tunisia where I studied both Modern Standard Arabic and Tunisian Arabic Dialect, and I have also visited Morocco.\u00a0While my primary research interests are in Spanish, I learned Arabic\u00a0to live the experience of learning a language from scratch for the first time as well as to connect with the incredibly rich cultures of Southwest Asia and North Africa.
