Lanzillotti Public Policy Research Center<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Sappington serves as an eminent scholar in the <a href=\"https:\/\/economics.clas.ufl.edu\/\">Department of\u00a0Economics<\/a> and as the Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/economics.clas.ufl.edu\/research-centers\/pprc\/\">Robert F. Lanzillotti Public Policy Research Center.<\/a> In addition to teaching courses on Microeconomic Theory, Professor Sappington presently serves on the editorial boards of six journals, including the <em>Rand Journal of Economics<\/em>, the <em>Journal of Economics and Management Strategy<\/em>, and the <em>Journal of Regulatory Economics<\/em>. His research focuses on the design of reward structures in the presence of limited information, particularly in regulated industries.
