Utilizing interdisciplinary approaches that blend anthropology, behavioral ecology, biology, and neuroscience, she has conducted extensive work on both captive and wild primates, including capuchin monkeys, gorillas, orangutans, bonobos, and chimpanzees. Her investigations into behavioral ecology, tool use, great\u2011ape communication, sociality, and prosociality provide critical insights into the evolutionary foundations of human behavior.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #444444\">Dr. Bogart has collaborated on research carried out at Yerkes National Primate Center, MD Anderson Biomedical Research Center, and the Milwaukee and Jacksonville Zoos. She has conducted over 14 years of research in Senegal, West Africa at the Fongoli Savanna Chimpanzee Site and Mt.
