Placement test legend: A:X+Y; Here A=P, LP, and NP stand for “Pass”, “Low Pass”, and “No Pass” (not shown after the drop-add period), respectively; X is the total full credit, Y is the total partial credit for incomplete solutions. Maximal number of full credit points is 23. Only full credit is counted for passing. Partial credit could only be used in the case when there are too many students with the same passing score (not used this year).

The course might be demanding for students with a passing score in a low tail. However, in the past, many such students did very well in the class. So, if you have LP, give this a good thought. Important: Students with P or LP will be automatically transferred to this section. If you do not wish to be in this section and stay in your regular Calc 3 section for any reason, you must tell so to the math undergraduate coordinator (Dr. Konstantina Christodoulopoulou) ASAP.
