Class of 2024
Placement test legend: A:X+Y; Here A=P, LP, and NP stand for “Pass”, “Low Pass”, and “No Pass” (not shown after the drop-add period), respectively; X is the total full credit, Y is the total partial credit for incomplete solutions. Maximal number of full credit points is 27. Only full credit is counted for passing. Partial credit could only be used in the case when there are too many students with the same passing score (not used this year).
Review your placement test. Compare with the posted solutions (in the course page). If you have questions, ask ASAP. The results will be sent to the department by Tuesday morning, and after that all the necessary transfers will be made.
If you pass and are in the Honors section (according ONE.UF), you don’t have to do anything. If you pass but are not in the Honors section, you’ll be transferred to my section. If, due to whatever reasons, you changed you mind and want to stay in a regular section, contact the math undergraduate coordinator (Dr. Konstantina Christodoulopoulou) ASAP.
The course might be demanding for students with a low pass (LP). However, in the past, many such students did very well in the class. So, if you have LP, then the same rule applies to you as for students who passed. However, if you decide to transfer to a regular section or don’t want to be transferred to the Honors section, please contact Dr. Konstantina Christodoulopoulou ASAP.
Students who are in the Honors section and who either got the NP score, or did not take the placement test, or did not turn in the placement test will be transferred from the Honors section to regular Calculus 3 sections. Please contact Dr. Konstantina Christodoulopoulou (the math undergraduate coordinator) ASAP if you have any preferences in the schedule.
You may change your alias any time, just email me your new alias (please don’t make them long!)
