Description and Goals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is a seminar course for intermediate\/advanced graduate students. Students will be encouraged to study research papers or to develop software related to an algebraic problem of their choice, and to present the material to the class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Software<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Some students may find it of interest to work with algebra software such as\u00a0 GAP or sage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t
