In this sequence the student is to learn the basic concepts and results in algebra. Full mathematical rigor and abstraction is used throughout. It should prepare for the First Year Algebra Exam.<br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/people.clas.ufl.edu\/turull\/content-removed\/\"> Sample problems<\/a><br>\nfor both the First Year Algebra Exam, and the Final Exam for this course are available.\n<\/dd>\n<dt><h3>Textbook: <\/h3><\/dt><dd><br>\n<i>Abstract Algebra<\/i>, 3rd Edition,  by D. S. Dummit and R. M.
