Tentative List of Topics include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sampling Distributions and the Central Limit Theorem<\/li>\n<li>Estimation<\/li>\n<li>Properties of \u00a0Estimators and Estimation Methods<\/li>\n<li>Hypothesis Testing<\/li>\n<li>Linear Models and Least Squares<\/li>\n<li>The Analysis of Variance<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course Policies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Turn off cell-phones and all electronic devices (except calculators) during class and exams.<\/li>\n<li>Exams are closed-book\/notes. Any relevant tables will be supplied.<\/li>\n<li>Practice Problems from the textbook will be posted on class web-site. They will be good practice for exam problems.<\/li>\n<li>E-mail is a terribly inefficient way to teach statistics. If you\u2019d like to see a particular problem worked out in class, send a request in advance.
