We will also have a colloquium talk on Friday February 27 4pm by Henry Towsner. \n\n \nSpeakers.\n \n\n\n\nPlenary speakers\nComputability special session\nSet theory special session\n\n\n\n\nDenis Hirschfeldt: On and around coarse reducibility\nKatie Brodhead :Reverse mathematics of the Graetzer-Schmidt theorem\n\nDana Bartosova: Partition theorems from the dual Ramsey theorem\n\n\nAndrew Marks: Uniform Borel reducibility\nEllen Chih: Degrees and splitting\nClinton Conley : Measurable matchings in acyclic locally countable graphs\n\n\nTheodore Slaman: On normal numbers\nBarbara Csima: Degrees of categoricity on a cone\nAleksandra Kwiatkowska: Dynamics of the homeomorphism group of the Lelek fan\n\n\n\nQuinn Culver: The interplay of classes of algorithmically random objects\nPaul Larson :Autmomorphisms of P(l)/k for l uncountable\n\n\n\nDamir Dzhafarov :Degrees of Mathias generics\nJose Mijares Palacios: Local Ramsey theory. An abstract approach\n\n\n\nJohanna Franklin: Bases for weak reducibilities\nAnush Tserunyan: Multiple recurrence\, filters\, and a Ramsey theorem\n\n\n\n Valentina Harizanov: Orbits of maximal vector spaces\nLinda Brown Westrick: The Dual Ramsey theorem and the property of Baire\n\n\n\nRussell Miller: Finitary reducibility on equivalence relations\nAndy Zucker: The generic point problem and closed subgroups of S infinity\n\n\n\nVictor A. To apply for the travel grant\, please send a brief application letter and a support letter from your advisor to zapletal@math.ufl.edu. Preference will be given to students willing to present a talk in the set theory special session. \n\n \nAccommodation.\nThe following hotels have been used by the mathematics department without major mishaps in the past: \n\n\n\n\n\nHoliday Inn University Center colorless\, but very convenient\nReitz Union on campus\, preferred. Due to the low number of rooms\, they seem to be always sold out\nParamount Plaza hotel a good lakeside location\, a free shuttle or three bus stops (schedule\, line 13) to campus\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Lakeshore Motel\, which some of you may have used in the past\, fell victim to a bulldozer a couple of years ago. \nTransportation.\nYou can fly to the Gainesville airport and continue to the campus by public bus (limited schedule line 25A or B)\, taxi\, or Uber.
