Title: An Introduction to Modular Forms: From Modular Groups to Ramanujan’s tau function and q-Series.

The project is based on selected chapters from Problems in the Theory of Modular Forms by M. Ram Murty, M. Dewar, and H. Graves, covering modular groups, modular forms, q-series, Hecke operators, and Ramanujan’s tau function. The project emphasizes guided reading, weekly mathematical discussions, proofs, examples, and student presentations.
