SPECIAL NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS IN THE F2F SECTION

For the week (Jan 11 – 15) and the week (Jan 18 – 22) F2F classes will held only on Wednesday and Friday.
From Jan 22 onwards Monday and Wednesday will be F2F with Friday a zoom class unless there is an announcement otherwise.

MW – 7th period (1:55 – 2:45pm) in LIT 304 and by appointment.

 

PREREQUISITES:

grade of C or better in MAC 2312, MAC 2512 or MAC 3473.
Recommended MAS 3300 or MHF 3202

 

TEXT:

An Introduction to the Theory of Numbers, 5th edition by Niven, Zuckerman and Montgomery.

MATERIAL TO BE COVERED:

Parts of chapters 1, 2, 3, 4

GRADING:

The course grade will be based on
Seven in-class tests each worth 1427% of the grade.
7 x 1427% = 100% total
