My office is LIT 405.  Currently, my office hours are set for:

• Monday, Period 9 (4:05-4:55)
• Tuesday, Period 5 (11:45-12:50)
• Thursday, Period 7 (1:55-3:00) (in LIT 215)

In-class things:

At the beginning of every class, I’ll have the beginning of a list of problems on the side board with each section covered for that week, on which you can put problems up from the homework that you had issues with.  I’ll do those the rest of the period, and then give a 15 minute quiz at the end.

The course is based on 540 points accumulated as follows:

• Class participation – 5%
• Online homework – 12.5%
• Discussion quizzes – 12.5%
• Midterm exams (3) – 50%
• Final – 20%

Add your bonus points, then use the scale below to determine your final letter grade. The course grade is determined by the number of points you have, not by the percentage, and will be strictly enforced.

• A = 90%
• B+ = 87%
• B = 80%
• C+ = 77%
• C = 70%
• D+ = 67%
• D = 60%
• E = below 60%

Attendance and Late Policy

Attendance is required, as you will have an in-class quiz every discussion section.  Try not to show up >10 minutes late to class, otherwise I can’t give you the quiz.
