Christine Voigt

Christine Voigt is a Senior Lecturer at the ELI and serves as the Student Life and Special Programs Coordinator.

Christine is a Florida native who has been with the ELI since 2012. She began as an instructor, then became a Skills Coordinator, before taking on her current admin role. Christine has taught every level and skill at the ELI, and has previously taught courses for Linguistics and the College of Education. Her favorite part about working at the ELI is interacting with the students, both in and out of class.

Christine holds an EdD in curriculum and instruction as well as an MEd specializing in bilingual/bicultural education from UF and a BFA in theatre arts from Jacksonville University.

Before coming to UF, Christine taught English in Seoul, South Korea for 4 years. She has also lived in the UK completing a theater internship and has traveled to many other places around the world. She loves working with the ELI students at UF and enjoys being part of this amazing ELI family.
