(SUPER) CONDUCTING POLYMERS

Together with various experimentalists  we have been trying to implement certain theoretical rules for polymers to satisfy so that they (1) can be expected to conduct;(2) can be possible superconductors. Several proposals for polymers to be synthesized have been made, and some are being studied experimentally. There are several highly conducting polymers, one a superconductor, that satisfy these rules. We hope to find polymers that are strong enough to be made into wires.
