Home: Henry Adams

My research interests are in topology, geometry, and data analysis. More specific subfields of interest include applied topology, computational topology and geometry, combinatorial topology, metric geometry, machine learning, and sensor networks.

I am also very interested in teaching, freely-available online resources, and how to make academia more welcoming, more open, more transparent, more accessible, and less intimidating.

I am the executive director of the Applied Algebraic Topology Research Network (AATRN), which hosts a weekly Online Seminar. Recordings of our seminar are available at the AATRN YouTube Channel, which has over 675 videos, over 9,500 YouTube subscribers, and about 16 hours watched per day. I also maintain a personal YouTube Channel.

At the University of Florida, I help run our Math Department Colloquium, and I attend our Topology Seminars.

I am an editor for the journals Homology, Homotopy and Applications, Experimental Mathematics, and Foundations of Data Science.
