LaTeX – Coordinator/Instructor

I have rewritten a considerable number of forms and templates for the department (and grad students) into LaTeX code. Below is a list of the raw .tex files (and pdfs where applicable) that coordinator/instructors may find useful. Some of these may require an official UF signature file (the official UF logo) which can be found here.

LaTeX File (.tex, .cls, or .sty) Portable/Printable File (.pdf) Support Automation?
Exam Class File (.cls) N/A Yes; see below for details.
TA Observation Form (.tex) PDF Version (Blank Responses) No
Exam Copy Request Form (.tex) PDF Version (Blank Responses) Yes; see below for details.

Note: For whatever reason WordPress and UFIT don’t like letting you download the media above directly, so you may end up having to “save as” on the resulting browser page. Also, IT seems to not trust a .cls file for reasons I can’t imagine, so those links point to my personal dropbox version of the file for now.

Exam Class file has extensive automation, including randomizing location of questions and answers, problem pools (add a bunch of problems and have latex randomly select however many you specify from the collection to present), question blocks that remain in order despite randomization, automated key building; among other things.

Exam Copy Request automation will place content automatically and resize the generated table accordingly to still look nice for those that get the pdf request. Alternatively you can print the blank version which doesn’t have as much space for the copy request parts as you may need (and which latex would resize for you if needed)
