Hello and welcome to my site.
My name is Ken and I’m the Director of CLAS IT. I’ve worked at UF since 1994, and it’s my pleasure to be working here in CLAS. Although I’m a professional “nerd” by trade, I earned my BA in History (from UF), with the majority of my studies on Latin American history (Cuba in particular). My interest in Latin American history probably stems from growing up in South Florida, or the time I spent living in the Caribbean as a kid.
My hobbies and interests include cycling (road, and a little bit of mountain biking), scuba diving, and occasionally I renew my life long interest in photography. I also teach Openwater scuba at UF’s Scientific Diver Development Program.
