Dr. Marina Klimenko
Instructional Professor
Dr. Marina Klimenko is an Instructional Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida. She earned her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology and a Masters in Public Administration with a focus on policy analysis from the University of Georgia. Her teaching includes primarily live and online undergraduate courses such as Developmental Psychology and Research Methods Lab. Her research and teaching interests span social and emotional development across the lifespan, with a particular emphasis on morality, culture, and experiential learning. She leads a productive undergraduate research lab exploring topics such as morality in video games, authenticity in social media, romantic relationships, and imposter syndrome. Her mentorship has helped students earn scholarships, present at professional conferences, and publish in high-impact journals.
