I was invited to give lectures at a number of European universities over the course of 2019, including Budapest, Warsaw, Erlangen-Nuremberg, Leipzig, Perugia, and Hamburg.

At the beginning of the fall semester, 2018, I was awarded two professorships by my university. They both include public recognition of academic achievement and additional monetary benefits.

• UF Term Professorship, for three years (2018-2021).
• Colonel Allen R. and Margaret G. Crow Term Professor, for one year (2018–2019).

I was awarded fellowship as a visiting professor at the International Consortium for Research in the Humanities, University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany). Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research, it covers 12 months of residential research, starting from January 2019.

Received summer grant for research in Germany from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Will be based at the University of Hamburg for 3 months, with additional travel in Germany and other parts of Europe.
