Our book is published

Getting In: The Insider’s Guide to Finding the Perfect Undergraduate Research Experience is now available on Amazon. As medical and graduate admissions committees continue to place a high value on research experiences, undergraduate research positions are becoming more competitive. We wrote Getting In to help students decide which research positions to pursue, contact potential mentors, nail interviews, and ultimately choose the perfect research experience.

Madi Turcotte accepted to the University of Oxford

Our undergrad in the lab, Madi Turcotte, has been accepted to the MSc program in Integrated Immunology offered jointly through the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine and the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Oxford, in Oxford, UK. Not a bad way to spend the year before she enters medical school. We wish her many discoveries during her Oxford adventure.

Madi Turcotte wins 3rd place at CASE undergraduate symposium

Our undergraduate researcher, Madeleine Turcotte, was awarded 3rd place – and a $250.00 cash prize – in the Science category for her poster presentation at the 2014 University of Florida Science for Life, Creativity in Arts and Sciences Symposium. The title of her poster was “Crystallizing a Regulator of the Cell’s Skeleton to determine its Shape and Function“. This is the second time (out of two appearances) that Madi has won an award at the annual CASE symposium.
