TITLE PAGE / PUBLISHER’S PREFACE

EPISTLE ON THE BELIEFS OF CERTAIN GREEKS TODAY

BY LEO ALLATIUS

To the reader from the publisher

I had printed the word ‘end’ after the previous works, when, there! Unexpectedly one more installment arrives from the author. For the sake of those interested in weird matters—especially anything that concerns striges, specters, and the inane beliefs of the common folk—it seemed right to add it to this book. Although scattered, you will find in it some serious material hinting at antiquity and truth worth investigating. Fare well.
