Areas of Interest/Research

Numerical analysis, finite element analysis, and scientific computing.  Some of my specific interests include developing verifiable conditions for well-posedness (uniqueness) for finite element discretizations of nonlinear problems,  designing efficient and robust nonlinear solvers, and goal-oriented adaptivity for nonlinear and multiscale problems.
