General Teaching Information

Dr. Knight teaches several introductory and advanced undergraduate, masters, MBA, and doctoral courses.  His most substantial instructional activity is teaching Principles of Macroeconomics. This hybrid live-online course enrolls students from nearly every undergraduate major and college at the University of Florida.  Regularly enrolling more than 1,200 students each semester, Dr. Knight teaches more than 30% of UF’s freshman class.

Dr. Knight has been recognized with several teaching awards from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Heavener School of Business, UF MBA Program, and UF Online.
