Teaching

I frequently teach “gateway” classes in Women’s Studies for undergraduate (WST3015, Interdisciplinary Perspectives in Women’s Studies) and graduate students (WST5933, Proseminar in Women’s Studies).  My upper division electives include The Gendered History of American Medicine; Women and Therapy; and Gender, Drink, and Disorder in American Culture. In recent years I have been teaching first-year General Education courses in UF’s new “Quest” curriculum, including “What is a Man?” and “Women and Religion in Popular American Fiction.”  I am not teaching in 2020-21 as I am on sabbatical.

My public teaching evaluations are available here.
