Description and Goals

The purpose of this course is to introduce and explore the relationships among political and economic factors in the global arena. The topics that will be examined are contending theoretical perspectives on the global economy, global economic institutions, global monetary relations, global trade regimes, regionalism, financial crisis, and the current global economic order.
