Description of the course

Engages students in the local Spanish-speaking community through academic investigation and service work. Includes classroom meetings, community-based projects, and reflective assignments. The course’s main project is a collaboratively produced documentary video on Hispanic immigrants, created in partnership with the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program. May be taken a maximum of one time on UF’s campus and one time abroad. Prereq: SPN 3300 or SPN 3350.
